The firm believes in very strong and zealous advocacy within the bounds of the law and the Canons of Ethics. It never promotes litigation for its own sake or to harass opponents and their clients. The firm does not engage in bad faith or frivolous litigation. All cases must have valid strategic or public policy objectives. Wherever possible, the firm attempts to settle or resolve cases if it is in the clients best interests to do so and where the client agrees that that is the case. The firm endeavors to treat all adversaries, litigants, court personnel and judges with the utmost respect and professional courtesy.

Employment Law

 

The body of law that governs the employer-employee relationship, including individual employment contracts, the application of tort and contract doctrines, and a large group of statutory regulation on issues such as the right to organize and negotiate collective bargaining agreements, protection from discrimination, wages and hours, and health and safety.

 

Federal Litigation

Generally Federal Law means the body of law created by the federal government of a country. In US, Federal law is the body of law consisting of the U.S. Constitution, federal statutes and regulations, U.S. treaties, and federal common law. The Federal law is the supreme law in US and overrides state law whenever there is a conflict. [Article IV, Section 2 of the U.S. Constitution.] United States federal laws are codified in the United States Code. The U.S. Supreme Court makes final decisions regarding all the federal laws.

 

Matrimonial & Family Law


The law relating to family disputes and obligations has grown dramatically since the 1970s, as legislators and judges have reexamined and redefined legal relationships surrounding Divorce, Child Custody, and Child Support. Family law has become entwined with national debates over the structure of the family, gender bias, and morality. Despite many changes made by state and federal legislators, matrimonial & family law remains a contentious areas of law, generating strong emotions from those who have had to enter the legal process.

 

Real Estate Law

The transfer of ownership or interest in real property from one person to another by a document, such as a deed, lease, or mortgage.

Criminal Law

The term criminal law generally refers to substantive criminal laws. Substantive criminal laws define crimes and may establish punishments. In contrast, Criminal Procedure describes the process through which the criminal laws are enforced. For example, the law prohibiting murder is a substantive criminal law. The manner in which government enforces this substantive law—through the gathering of evidence and prosecution—is generally considered a procedural matter.

Civil Litigation

Civil litigation is a legal dispute between two or more parties that seek money damages or specific performance rather than criminal sanctions. A lawyer who specializes in civil litigation is known as a “litigator” or “trial lawyer.” Lawyers who practice civil litigation represent parties in trials, hearings, arbitrations and mediations before administrative agencies, foreign tribunals and federal, state and local courts
